Providing reliable and timely information to our citizens is one of the Police Department’s top priorities.  With the new system the public is able to access the crime map 24 hours a day through the website.  The new service also allows local citizens to sign up for free customizable email alerts in order to stay on top of crime in their neighborhood.  Garland’s Police believe by giving the community easy access to this information that is updated weekly will help prevent crime across the City.  The site also includes a link to leave anonymous Crime Stopper Tips.

The Garland Police Department is joining over a thousand other law enforcement agencies of all sizes across North America in sharing their crime information with the public through the map.
